Jorge Balzaretti

I have always been inspired by the fashion industry from a very young age. I used to read my mother's Vogue magazines: obsessed with the beautiful pictures, models, clothing designers, and – of course – the make-ups.

It was in my early 20's when I had the chance to assist in a fashion photo shoot, since that day, I knew I wanted to work as a make-up artist. I did a intensive make-up course in Barcelona to get the basics.

I love contouring with blushers, working with textures, and playing with colours; I love red lips! Dewy glowing skins are my passion. I don't follow any rules in particular, as I believe make-up artists should follow their instincts and be guided by creativity.

My work can be seen in many fashion cult magazines. I have worked in several fashion shows backstage like Burberry, Palmer / Harding, YII in the London Fashion Week, to name a few.

I currently work for SUQQU Beauty in the UK as a Senior Make-up Artist & Creative Consultant. I created my first make-up collection for SUQQU in the UK which was released in October 2016, sold out within a week! I am currently working in the collections for the following years.
